An Academic Study Visit to Kochi

 From 10th to 13th March 2026, the final year B.Sc. Interior Design and Decoration (IDD) students were taken on an educational visit to the Kochi-Muziris Biennale in Kochi as part of their academic learning. The visit focused on exploring contemporary art practices while also studying the architectural character of Fort Kochi. Students observed and documented traditional and colonial architectural elements and visited significant religious structures including churches and temples to understand spatial design, cultural influences, and material usage. This experiential learning helped them connect design concepts with real-world contexts, enhancing their understanding of art, architecture, and heritage in interior design practice
