The session was delivered by Dr. Nischay Gowda, Associate Head – IDD, JD School of Design. The lecture focused on upcoming trends such as smart interiors, sustainable materials, multifunctional furniture, biophilic design, and technology-driven spaces. Students gained valuable insights into future industry demands, innovative practices, and career opportunities in interior design. The lecturer also emphasized the influence of technology, such as smart furniture with built-in charging stations or adaptable lighting. .
