Elevate – Showcase Your Professional and Personal Branding Orgd by Dept of T & P

 

The Department of Training & Placements, in association with the Department of MCA, organized a Technical Presentation and Interview Readiness Session to provide students with an opportunity to showcase their technical competencies, academic projects, and professional communication skills in a simulated interview environment. The activity aimed to enhance students' confidence in presenting themselves effectively without the support of presentation tools while preparing them for technical interviews and campus recruitment.

A total of 20 MCA students participated in the session by delivering 3–5 minute presentations on their self-introduction, technical skills, academic projects, technologies used, and key learning experiences. The session evaluated students on their communication skills, confidence, body language, professional grooming, clarity of thought, and their ability to articulate technical concepts in a structured and professional manner. Faculty members and the Training & Placement team provided constructive feedback to help students understand industry expectations and improve their presentation skills.

The activity revealed that while several students demonstrated good subject knowledge and enthusiasm, many required additional preparation to communicate their technical expertise with greater confidence and clarity. Students were encouraged to strengthen their technical understanding, improve their presentation and interpersonal skills, and develop a more professional approach to interviews. Overall, the session served as an effective platform for enhancing interview readiness, self-confidence, and employability, enabling students to identify their strengths and areas for improvement before participating in campus recruitment drives.
