CRISIS COMMAND – Where Pressure Meets Precision | Organised by Department of Management – BBA & AVI

The Department of Management (UG), in association with the Tycoon Club, successfully organised “Crisis Command” on 6 October 2026 at the Sixth Floor Seminar Hall. The event was designed as an experiential learning activity aimed at developing students’ critical thinking, quick decision-making, problem-solving, leadership, teamwork and communication skills in challenging situations.

The competition was conducted in two rounds. In the first round, participants were presented with a crisis-based case and given 15 minutes to analyse the situation, identify the key issues and develop an appropriate course of action. The activity encouraged participants to assess the situation carefully, consider possible alternatives and arrive at practical solutions within a limited time. In the second round, the teams presented their proposed solutions before the judges, demonstrating their decision-making ability, creativity, strategic thinking and communication skills.

Students from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd years of BBA participated enthusiastically in the competition. The event created a realistic managerial environment where students had to think under pressure, work collaboratively and justify their decisions effectively. The evaluation was based on a structured judging framework covering crisis analysis, problem-solving, practicality and creativity of solutions, teamwork, communication and overall presentation.

The event provided students with an opportunity to move beyond theoretical learning and apply management concepts to practical crisis situations. It strengthened their ability to analyse problems, make timely decisions and communicate solutions with confidence. The active participation and enthusiasm of the students contributed to the successful conduct of the event, making Crisis Command an engaging and meaningful experiential learning initiative of the Department of Management (UG).
