The Department of Interior Design successfully organized a guest lecture on “Acoustic Comfort in Interior Spaces” for B.Sc. Interior Design & Decoration students of Semesters 2, 4, and 6. The session was led by Srinivas K, Technical Engineer at AV Pro, and focused on the importance of acoustics in residential and commercial interiors. Students gained valuable insights into fundamental acoustic concepts, suitable acoustic materials, and practical design strategies to enhance comfort and functionality in interior spaces. The session effectively connected classroom learning with real-world applications, helping students better understand the integration of acoustic considerations in interior design projects
