ACHIEVERS’ DAY 2026 By UNICORN SQUAD

                                                                  

                                                                          

The Department of Commerce, under the vibrant leadership of the Unicorn Squad, successfully organized “Achievers Day” on 14 May at Heritage Hall at 1:30 PM. The event was conducted with great enthusiasm and elegance to celebrate the remarkable achievements, talents, and contributions of students and faculty members throughout the academic year. The programme reflected the institution’s commitment to encouraging excellence, leadership, discipline, and holistic development among students.

The event commenced with a soulful Prayer Song presented by the choir, creating a graceful and positive atmosphere for the gathering. This was followed by the Welcome Address delivered by the emcee, who warmly welcomed the dignitaries, faculty members, students, awardees, and guests present for the occasion.

The Annual Report was then presented by Ms. Sandra Mariella, highlighting the numerous achievements, departmental activities, student accomplishments, competitions, outreach programmes, and milestones attained during the academic year. The report showcased the department’s continuous efforts towards academic and co-curricular excellence.

The gathering was further inspired by the Principal’s Address delivered by Dr. R. N. Subba Rao, who appreciated the dedication and hard work of students and faculty members. He emphasized the importance of perseverance, discipline, and consistent effort in achieving success. Following this, the Centum Holders Felicitation was conducted by the dignitaries to honour students who secured centum scores in their examinations. Their achievements were recognized with appreciation and applause from the audience.

The programme continued with the Director’s Address by Rev. Dr. Bro. Titus Anto, who congratulated all achievers and motivated students to continue striving for excellence in academics, leadership, and personal growth. His words encouraged students to uphold the values and reputation of the institution.

An important highlight of the event was the News Letter Reveal, presented by Ms. Priyanka, which showcased the department’s accomplishments, activities, and memorable moments of the academic year. The release of the newsletter reflected the creativity and collaborative efforts of the students and faculty members.

The event also focused on recognizing and appreciating the efforts of event winners, event co-ordinators, event volunteers, centum holders, and the Unicorn Squad Council for their outstanding contributions and commitment. Their dedication played a significant role in the successful conduct of various departmental activities throughout the year.

The Event Prize Distribution and Squad Felicitation were carried out by the dignitaries, where deserving students and teams were honoured for their achievements and active participation. One of the most awaited moments of the programme was the announcement of the Best Class Trophy. The prestigious title was awarded to II Year B.Com A&F ‘B’ for securing the highest overall points through exceptional participation, discipline, and performance in departmental activities and events.

The programme concluded with the announcement of the Best Class Winner by Dr. Jesmon Raj N, followed by the Vote of Thanks delivered by Ms. Ananya Ravi, Co-ordinator of the event. She expressed heartfelt gratitude to the management, dignitaries, faculty members, students, volunteers, and organizing committee for their support and contribution towards the grand success of Achievers Day.

Overall, Achievers Day served as a platform to celebrate excellence, motivate students, and inspire everyone to continue pursuing success with determination and dedication.
