The Human Rights Protection Cell has been established with the primary objective of promoting, safeguarding, and upholding human rights within the college campus. Its mission is centered on fostering an environment where human rights are respected and integrated into every aspect of campus life through the development and implementation of effective institutional policies. Additionally, the Cell aims to enhance awareness and build the capacity of both faculty and students to recognize, uphold, and advocate for human rights, while also ensuring stringent measures are in place to prevent and address any violations.

A key focus of the Human Rights Cell is to cultivate a sense of security and trust within the college community. It strives to create an inclusive and respectful atmosphere where every individual—whether a member of the academic staff, administrative personnel, or the student body—feels protected, valued, and empowered. By fostering such an environment, the Cell contributes to the overall well-being and productivity of the university community, ensuring that all members can focus on their academic and professional pursuits without fear of discrimination or harm.

The Cell serves as a dedicated platform for addressing complaints and grievances related to human rights violations. It provides support and redressal mechanisms for issues concerning discrimination, harassment, and other forms of misconduct. This includes, but is not limited to, cases of sexual harassment, physical abuse, mental harassment, and any discriminatory practices based on gender, race, religion, ethnicity, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
