The Department of Commerce organized an industrial visit to Mysore Electrical Industries for commerce students. The objective of this visit was to provide practical insights into industrial operations, business management, and financial aspects of a manufacturing unit.

To understand the functioning and management of an electrical manufacturing unit. To gain insights into the supply chain, inventory, and financial aspects of the industry. To bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical industry exposure. To explore career opportunities in the manufacturing sector.

Mysore Electrical Industries is a reputed company specializing in the production of electrical components such as transformers, switchgears, and circuit breakers. The company plays a vital role in catering to the needs of various industries, commercial enterprises, and power distribution networks.

Learnings from the Visit

• Production Process: Students observed the step-by-step manufacturing of electrical components, including quality control measures.
